Free COVID Rapid Tests

Free Rapid Antigen Tests are now available for all community members to collect at the following locations:

Ascot Vale Library 165 Union Road, Ascot Vale

Avondale Heights Library and Learning Centre 69 Military Road, Avondale Heights

Flemington Library Pop-up Branch 15 Ascot Vale Road, Flemington

Niddrie Library 483 Keilor Road, Niddrie

Sam Merrifield Library 762 Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds

Moonee Ponds Customer Service Centre 9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds

The Clocktower Centre 750 Mt Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds. Monday – Friday 10am- 4pm only.

Who is eligible?

All community members who present to a collection site can receive up to 10 tests (2 kits) for themselves, plus up to 10 tests (2 kits) for each member of their household per visit. You do not need to be from the municipality to pick up a test. 

Those living with a disability

People with disabilities or their carer can receive 20 tests (4 kits) per visit, including:

  • NDIS participants
  • Disability support pensioners
  • People with a disability who receive a Transport Accident Commission benefit

What if I have symptoms or I am a contact of a COVID-19 case?

You should not go to a council site if you have COVID-19 symptoms. Someone can collects rapid antigen tests on your behalf at any council collection site.
