Ascot Vale Library - an external image of the newly renovated building at 165 Union Road

Ascot Vale Library has reopened!

We are thrilled to announce that renovations are complete at Ascot Vale Library and the branch reopened on Monday 28 July.

While the historic facade of the building has been retained and refreshed, the interior has been transformed and extended into a welcoming, sustainable, and accessible space that supports learning, creative programs and community events. The new building boasts three times the floorspace over two levels, with meeting rooms, space for events, more study areas, internal and external public toilets, public kitchenette, open air balcony, DDA compliant lift, and a Changing Places bathroom.

We are ready to welcome you back to 165 Union Road!

This redevelopment project has been supported by Moonee Valley City Council and the Victorian Government, through the Living Libraries Infrastructure Program and the Changing Places Program
