Would you like to join discussions on a range of books and literary topics?

Our Book Clubs cover a variety of genres, topics, and authors. There are currently around twenty active clubs facilitated through the Library.

The advantage of joining a Book Club through us is that we provide the books as a set, alongside a kit of reading notes to help promote discussion. Book titles are negotiated with one of our librarians and loaned out for four weeks.

Registration

Both group and individual registrations are currently at capacity. We will update this website when we are able to take registrations again.

Pre-existing groups with a maximum of twelve people are welcome to approach the library for assistance in facilitating books. One person from the group will be nominated as a contact point with the library. We are currently at capacity and not taking any group registrations.*

Individuals can express an interest in joining a group. There may be a waiting period depending on availability and scheduling. We are currently at capacity and not taking any individual registrations.*

Location & meetings

Book Clubs are welcome to reserve a room at the library (subject to availability/fees) or can alternatively meet at an external location as they wish.

Groups can meet whenever it is suitable, upon agreement with library staff.
